Dr. Sharon Chamard, Justice faculty, was invited by
Carolina Academic Press, Durham, North Carolina, to review,
"The Decision-Making Network: An Introduction Criminal Justice," a new Justice textbook by Professors Patrick R. Anderson and Risdon N. Slate of Florida Southern College.
As Dr. Chamard notes, "This text presents the criminal justice system in a manner different than other texts - as a complicated network influenced by a variety of actors, many of whom are behind-the-scenes and perhaps motivated by interests other than public safety."
