AJSAC Fact Sheet highlighted on Justice Research and Statistics Association website

The Alaska Justice Statistical Analysis Center (AJSAC) and the 16-01 Fact Sheet — "Alaska Trauma Registry: Trauma Admissions Involving Alcohol or Illegal Drugs, 2014" are in the member spotlight of the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA).
 
The fact sheet presents data from the Alaska Trauma Registry (ATR) on numbers of trauma admissions, patient demographics, and the presence of alcohol or illegal drugs in trauma admissions in 2014. Khristy Parker, Research Professional, is the author of the fact sheet.

JRSA also tweeted about the recent AJSAC Fact Sheet on Alaska Trauma Registry admissions.

Alaska Justice Statistical Analysis Center Fact Sheets noted in national SAC Publication Digest

Three Alaska Justice Statistical Analysis Center (AJSAC) Fact Sheet articles by Khristy Parker, AJSAC Research Professional, have been included in the recent online SAC Publication Digest covering July–December 2014.

The SAC Publication Digest contains abstracts of reports produced by state Statistical Analysis Centers (SACs), with links to the full reports. These reports cover a wide array of topics and analysis approaches for criminal justice data at the state level.  The Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) is the online publisher.

Dr. Myrstol invited to join the Justice Research and Policy Editorial Board as Associate Editor

Dr. Brad Myrstol, Director of the Alaska Justice Statistical Analysis Center (AJSAC), was recently invited to join the Justice Research and Policy Editorial Board as an Associate Editor.

Justice Research and Policy is a publication of the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA). It is a semiannual, peer-reviewed journal which publishes policy-oriented research on a wide range of topics, with a particular focus on criminal and juvenile justice policies and practices relevant to state and local government.

The AJSAC is housed in the Justice Center.

Forum articles included in digest of statistical analysis center publications

Abstracts of five Alaska Justice Forum articles from the Summer/Fall 2011 issue have been included in the recently released online SAC Publication Digest, Vol. XV, July - December 2011 issued by the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA).

The Forum articles are:

Forum articles included in digest of statistical analysis center publications

Abstracts of two Alaska Justice Forum articles have been included in the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) Publication Digest for January - June 2011.

The articles, "Prisoner Reentry and the Uniform Collateral Consequences of Conviction Act" by Prof. Deb Periman, J.D., and "Gangs: National Data and the Fairbanks Gang Assessment" by Khristy Parker, Justice Center Research Professional and Shea Daniels, Juvenile Probation Officer, Alaska Division of Juvenile Justice, were published in the Alaska Justice Forum, volume 27, number 4, Winter 2011.
