Marilyn May, Clerk of the Appellate Courts for the Alaska Court System, spoke to the students in
Prof. Deb Periman's Legal Studies Senior Seminar in October. Ms. May is a former lawyer with the Alaska Department of Law who regularly handled appellate matters. She spoke to students about the appellate process and tips and techniques for managing an appeal and writing an appellate brief.
