Dr. Sharon Chamard and Dr. Troy Payne, Justice faculty, will be assisting the Anchorage Police Department (APD) by researching calls for police service under Anchorage Municipal Code 8.80. AMC 8.80 authorizes the Municipality to impose a fee for excessive calls for police service during one calendar year to a residential property .They will be interviewing APD's CAP (Community Action Police) Team and examining data from APD.
