Heather MacAlpine will present, "Three Strikes? A Look at Young Black Males' and Their Perceptions of the Police" on Thursday, April 12 at 5:45 p.m. in the Student Union South Cafeteria. She presented this topic as part of a panel on Race-based Policing and the Attitudes of
African Americans Towards the Police at the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences conference in New York City in March.
