Prof. Deb Periman, Justice Center faculty, participated as one of the volunteer judges for the "We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution" competition for middle school students inAnchorage on May 5. Seven teams were involved in the event which was held on the UAA campus. "We the People" is a national educational program developed to educate young people about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
