The Vincent W. Root and Mary Root estates donated funds to the UAA Paralegal Studies Certificate Program sufficient to establish an ongoing scholarship award for its outstanding students. The Vincent W. & Mary Root Outstanding Paralegal Student Award will be given in the amount of $500 to a student selected by the Paralegal Scholarship Committee, comprised of members of the Paralegal Studies Program’s Advisory Board.
Note: Although the application materials gives an application deadline of Friday, March 13, 2009, the Justice Center will be closed on March 13 for Spring Break. Therefore, applications should be turned to the Justice Center no later than 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 12.
