Dr. Sharon Chamard, Justice Center faculty, was elected to the position of Second Vice President of the UAA Faculty Senate for 2014-2015. The duties of the Second Vice President are to assist the President and First Vice President, chair the Nominations and Elections Committee, and serve as the representative of the Faculty Senate on the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFÉ) Advisory Board.Dr. Chamard was a Senator in the UAA Faculty Senate representing the College of Health from 2012 to 2014, during which time she was also a member and chair of the Budget, Planning, and Facilities Advisory Committee. The Justice Center is in the College of Health.
