Dr. Rivera to head evaluation of MOA Alaska Methamphetamine Education Project (AME)
Dr. Marny Rivera, Justice Center faculty, will head the evaluation of the Alaska Methamphetamine Education (AME) Project's prevention and education efforts in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai and Mat-Su Valley. The Municipality of Anchorage contracted with the Justice Center to conduct the evaluation which will consist of feedback questionnaires from participants attending community education presentations, a survey of the five designated communities, and a process evaluation involving interviews with AME task force members. This project is funded by a grant from the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
