Dr. Marny Rivera, Justice Center faculty, will head the evaluation of the
Alaska Methamphetamine Education (AME) Project's prevention and education efforts in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai and Mat-Su Valley. The Municipality of Anchorage contracted with the Justice Center to conduct the evaluation which will consist of feedback questionnaires from participants attending community education presentations, a survey of the five designated communities, and a process evaluation involving interviews with AME task force members. This project is funded by a grant from the
U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
